Today was all about reflection. We spent the morning
presenting our comparative analysis projects to each other. After lunch we had
major synthesis sessions until around 4:30. Then I walked home, dropped my
stuff off, and went to the beach with people for a little while. Then we walked
back to school for our final ceremony with all of the host families. My host
mom and sister came. Food was excellent, and there was a TON of it. We all ate
and danced until around 9pm. After that, Ana and I came home to change, and
then we headed to a friend’s house around 11. From there, we all went to a reggae
club for the rest of the night and into the morning. Great last night in Dakar.
